State of knowledge: Histolocalisation in phytochemical study of medicinal plants

نویسندگان

چکیده

The renewed interest in medicinal plants has led us to examine more closely the usefulness of metabolite histolocalisation screening work before any in-depth phytochemical studies. Indeed, this method is a histochemical technique allowing characterizing plant tissues constituents; and particular metabolites therapeutic interest, without destroying or altering as much possible studied material. This aims at carring out wide highlight bioactive from our rich university heritage collection. characterisation used chemical, morphological topographical (localisation) that uses precipitation reactions using dyes, among others. To do we made thin cross-sections razor blades on fresh sections were then coloured conventional chemical stains observations MOTIC BA210 microscope equipped with MOTICAM camera. In view obtained results, technique, therefore, proves be useful analysis when applied studies such Datura stramonium, Peperomia obtusifolia, Cecropia obtusa, Orthosiphon aristatus Vitex agnus castus. results confirm presence sought metabolites, allow their precise histological localisation. will make extraction process profiTable, simpler even ecological by avoiding waste.

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...
